A new element to your visit
We invite you to add a new element to your holiday or visit to our region by enjoying the richness and diversity of the talents and expertise of our ‘Artisan Créateurs’ – Artists and crafts people (Artisans d’Art).
Visit their Ateliers and meet them at the local markets and exhibitions, giving you the chance to really appreciate their artistry and perhaps buy some of their beautiful and original hand-made items.
For those with more time, some of our artisans offer training and workshops where you can learn and practice their art.
The Directory
This site is a Listing Directory of these Artisan Créateurs, optimised for your mobile and tablet use, displaying their creativity and skills and providing contact details, location and opening hours to enable you to visit them at work.
Listings marked Premium have the most information and photos about the Artisan including website and social media links.
Our Blog/Events page gives details of many Artisan markets and Art Exhibitions in the area where you will be able to meet up with many of our Créateurs.
How to find Artisans
Use our home page Google map – click on a Pin near where you are staying to show Artisans in that area.
Use the search facility to find – Artisan Créateurs by location or a particular Artisan Créateur by name.
Use the Categories and/or Product Tags to find Artisan Créateurs by skill/product.
On Premium Listings there is also a specific Google Map which shows you the exact location of their atelier.
How to contact an Artisan
As well as the contact details shown, on a Premium Listing you can use the private message form to contact them directly to ask about a product or make an appointment to visit.
Post a Review
After your visit you can then write a review – just like Trip Advisor – and hopefully give them 5 stars!
Just go to their detailed listing and click on the Reviews tab. Write your review and click Submit.
