‘Artisan Créateurs du Languedoc – Occitanie’ (ACLO)
ACLO is supported by local Artist and award winning watercolourist, Jennifer Dennis of JD ART. See her directory listing here.
We actively promote the work and handmade products of our Artisan Créateurs – the Artists and Artisans d’Art – of the Languedoc and the surrounding region of Occitanie in the South of France.
The aim of ACLO is to provide a link between visitors and holidaymakers to our region* and the many talented Artisan Créateurs working here so that our visitors can more fully appreciate this artistic and cultural aspect of the region, hopefully enhancing the enjoyment of their visit to the area.
Who are our Artisan Créateurs?
Our Artisan Créateurs include Artists in watercolour, oil, pastel and other visual media, Sculptors in wood, stone and metal and crafts people in Jewellery, Glassware, Wrought Iron, Ceramics and Pottery, Leather, Clothing and Textiles and many other handmade artisanal product categories.
The ACLO online directory
The ACLO online directory provides Artisan Créateurs with the opportunity to advertise their work and to attract visitors to their ateliers and their stands at the various Artisan Markets and Art Exhibitions in the area.
As well as a description of their expertise and any training or workshops offered, there are product photos, full contact details including a local map and atelier opening hours where relevant.
The directory is specifically designed for mobile and tablet use, the most likely used for viewing when on holiday.
